In this year's Imus Grand NGOs-POs Family Day, local officials lauded NGOs-POs accomplishments for 2009 which brought awareness among Imusenos on the importance of the private sector in the delivery of social services to the local citizenry especially the indigent individuals, families and groups.

Cavite Board Member Jun del Rosario cited the role of CDAO in pooling available resources both from the government and private sectors which is a big help in programs implementation.

Imus Municipal Mayor Manny Maliksi expressed his sincere thanks to various NGO-POs operating in Imus for their continuous support to the local government's social services programs.

Imus Vice-Mayor Many Ilano on the other hand recognized NGOs-POs accomplishments for 2009 especially in the efficient and effective delivery of social services to the Imusenos.

And lastly, Imus Councilor Dondon Yambao assured CDAO of the local government's unwavering support to all its programs.

A cheering competition was organized by CDAO as part of the program and won by the Asosasyon ng Ulirang Ina ng Cavite; KKK (red) as second placer and A-Star Foundation, Inc. as third placer

CDAO Holds Grand NGOs-POs Family Day

The Community Development Assistance Office (CDAO) of Imus, Cavite held Grand NGOs-POs Family Day on October 20, 2009 at Imus Covered Court. This is an annual event honoring all NGOs-POs operating in the Municipality of Imus.

For this year, over 3000 members from various NGOs-POs trooped to the Imus Covered Court for as early as 10:00 A.M. The program formally started at 2:00 P.M. and was graced by local officials such as Cavite Board Member Jun Del Rosario, Imus Municipal Mayor Manny Maliksi, Imus Vice-Mayor Mandy Ilano, Imus Councilor Dondon Yambao; and other personalities from the religious groups, NGOs and POs.

The event was hosted by Bro. Bal Ronato, O.Carm and PYAP Coordinator Mitch Mabinis.
